"Superhero Log: Day 17 — The Battle with Boredom"

I came into this fight thinking I’d crush it in a few days. After all, I’m a self-proclaimed superhero — pain? I can take it. Needles? Bring ’em on. But no one warned me about my true nemesis: BOREDOM.

The mission was clear: uncover the mystery hiding in my lungs. But to get there? Endless tests. Endless waiting. And worse… no food or drink for twelve hours before each procedure. A hero runs on fuel, people! I thought this was well understood in the MCU. 

CT scans. MRIs. X-rays. I’ve been poked, scanned, zapped, and prodded. At one point, I half-expected a pregnancy test to show up on the tray…thankfully, it didn’t.

Then came the waiting.

Superpowers don’t help much when the enemy is time.

Fast forward: I’m stronger now. Breathing easier. But the villain — the real diagnosis — is still in hiding. Even a bronchoscopy mission couldn’t drag it into the light. Rumor has it some prayers jammed that radar…if any of you have word on the prayer warriors responsible, please let me know. 

Today, the doctors say I’ve cleared every checkpoint for release. Now, I wait for the final call: discharge papers signed.

If all goes well, I’ll be back on the streets — cape slightly wrinkled, I.V. port still dangling — ready for the next round.
